South Bend Tribune, South Bend, IndianaNILES - Lloyd Thomas Jackson, 66, of 3195 Runkle Road, died Saturday of an apparent heart attack in the Lakeland Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, N. Claudette (Chastian); two daughters, Sandra Peffley of Elkhart and JoAnn Spencer of South Bend; four sons, Michael and Jeffrey, both of Niles, Mark of Elkhart and Tommy of Mishawaka; four sisters, Jean Rodgers of Niles, Sue Bradford of Aurora, Ill., Sharon Hughes of Trenton, Ill., and Brenda Chipman of Manila, Ark.; and five brothers, Carl of Edwardsburg, Dan of Pleasant Grove, Ark., Jim of Mishawaka, Dale of Manila, Ark., and Bo of Leachville, Ark. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

NILES - Lloyd Thomas Jackson, 66, who resided at 3195 Runkle Road, Niles, Mich., passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, in the emergency room at Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, from an apparent heart attack at home that same day. Mr. Jackson was born on Nov. 5, 1932, in Spiro, Okla., the son of the late Roberts and Lucy (Reed) Jackson. He was a retired employee of the Dodge Reliance Company in Mishawaka, Ind., after 40 years of service. Mr. Jackson was married in August 1954 in Mishawaka to the former N. Claudette Chastian, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Sandra Peffley of Elkhart, Ind., and JoAnn Spencer of South Bend; four sons, Michael and Jeffrey, both of Niles, Mark of Elkhart and Tommy of Mishawaka; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean Rogers of Niles, Sue Bradford of Aurora, Ill., Sharon Hughes of Trenton, Ill., and Brenda Chipman of Manila, Ark.; and by five brothers, Carl of Edwardsburg, Mich., Dan of Pleasant Grove, Ark., Jim of Mishawaka, Dale of Manila, Ark., and Bo of Leachville, Ark. Services will be at 2 p.m on Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home in Edwardsburg. Officiating will be Rev. Walter K. Davis, pastor of the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery on Redfield Road, Milton Township.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, and one hour before services on Wednesday.
